Lucas is one of Durham’s finest Tattoo artists.

Lucas studied illustration at the Savannah College of Art and Design and has spent the past 13 years creating artwork primarily for bands and musicians, including Wolfbrigade, Kylesa, Shawn James, Dimmu Borgir, Ghoul, Exhumed, and Maryland Deathfest.

He began tattooing in New York in 2021 and relocated to Durham in early 2023. Since then, Lucas has focused on translating his illustrative background into tattooing, refining a style rooted in bold linework, etching, and woodcut-inspired designs.

His approach emphasizes strong composition, texture, and clarity—making his work especially well-suited for clients drawn to graphic, high-contrast tattoos with a distinctly illustrative feel.
