Native to Downtown Durham, Mavis Carroll studied at Durham School of the Arts, and envisioned herself as a tattooer from a young age. Taking the skills she learned from her background in Cosmetology and Management- Mavis was able to set herself apart with hard work and dedication, and found her home at Twin Suns apprenticing under Jack Cody. Mavis enjoys painting whenever she can, and is always looking for a way to put a little of her personality into her designs. She primarily tattoos in an American Traditional style, and is ready to take on your next tattoo idea.
